A time for Oakman Inns to bring the whole company together to say 'thank you' for the past year. It is also an opportunity to let everyone know is in the pipeline for the company for the coming twelve months. Oakfest is a festival style event where music, fun and of course delicious fresh food is served. Our businesses close for one day to ensure all our employees can attend.
We love people developing people to be 'the best they can be' Our training programmes use the talent already in our business, our suppliers and training team. Training is varied from mixology classes, leadership skills to developing new menus.
Our most popular communication tool, we use it to recognise outstanding sites and personal achievements, to share news, reminders and allow teams who have worked together to keep in touch with each other.

New in 2016 our Staff Reps Committee meets 4 times a year with the goal of improving communication across the estate, present and listen to new ideas or suggestions. We want to retain our culture as we grow so every meeting is attended by our CEO.
